Version 1.3 of the Wsuster Update Approval Tool is now available for download. The Wsuster Update Approval Tool is a utility to help you find and approve updates which are made available from your Microsoft Windows Server Update Services 3.0 server. Wsuster was created by two Windows systems administrators (and WSUS enthusiasts) with only one goal: simplify the recurring approval process!
This major difference with previous versions is that this version is WSUS 3.0 compatible. Previous versions worked partially. Also code has be redesigned and has because more efficient. I changed also the search box to a regular expression search box. In this way you can do an advanced search. For example, search all patches not containing the words "Internet Explorer". Download

Version 1.2 of the Wsuster Update Approval Tool is now available for download. The Wsuster Update Approval Tool is a utility to help you approve updates which are made available from your Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server. Wsuster was created by two Windows systems administrators (and WSUS enthousiasts) with only one goal: simplify the recurring approval process! The new version includes the possibility to specify a deadline when approving updates. Another major improvement is the ability to approve updates to multiple target groups at once. This version was build using Visual Studio 2005 and requires .NET Framework version 2.0 to be installed on your WSUS server. Your Microsoft Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) server will still require .NET Framework 1.1. Please make sure your WSUS implementation is configured to keep using the .NET Framework version 1.1 after installing .NET Framework version 2.0. You can check and change the settings using the Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager by opening the properties of your WSUS website and selecting the ASP.NET tab. Download
